Rainbow Loom has taken over our kitchen table, and we made a fun, stop-motion film to prove it!
The 3-1/2 minute time lapse movie was shot over a five hour period on a Saturday.
Starring: Emily and Maddie
With guest appearances by: Mom, Dad, neighbourhood friend Christina, Chloe (tabby cat – watch for her on the couch and countertop), Caper (black cat makes a brief appearance at the end), Rosie (the fluffy Papillon), Paisley (the lazy doxie) and Rainbow Man (walking across table.)
You’ve seen the Single Rhombus and the Double Rhombus, but what about the Double Forward Rhombus?

The Serpentine reminds us a bit of the Zig Zag.
We used the following video to create our Serpentine Rainbow Loom bracelet:
The Criss-Cross RL bracelet (not to be confused with the Confetti Criss-Cross) is a new fave! We especially like it in blue ombre.

We just discovered the Bandana design and had to give it a try. What do you think?

When we got our Rainbow Loom back in September 2013 we started out with the Single and the Fishtail pattern. Once we mastered those we searched Youtube for easy bracelet tutorials, but we quickly discovered that most patterns weren’t labeled, so it was impossible to know if they were suitable for our skill level . As a result, we had to fumble our way through some difficult patterns, which at the time, seemed very frustrating.
If you are new to Rainbow Loom you’re probably like we were back then – scouring the net for easy tutorials that won’t leave you in the midst of a complete Rainbow Loom Fail. That’s why we have rounded up eight of the easiest Rainbow Loom bracelet designs that we could find. Once you’ve accomplished all of these patterns, you’ll be well on your way to taking on more advanced designs.
1. Single
3. Fishtail
5. Railroad
7. Diamond
8. Bonbon
If you are looking for something a little different to try, give the Diamond with Rings a whirl.
We love the colour combo that we chose for this bracelet!

We love Fishtail patterns, so we created a new Fishtail design – the One Fish Two Fish! You can use any type of loom for this design.
This design is a combination of the Inverted Fishtail and traditional Fishtail pattern. The pattern is as follows: 2 Inverted Fishtail loops, 1 Fishtail loop, 2 Inverted Fishtail loops, 1 Fishtail loop etc. That’s why we call it the One Fish Two Fish!
